Danny’s Walk 2026
In memory of her brother Danny, Katherine Rudden established Danny’s Walk to Save the Children, an annual fundraising event that celebrates his life while supporting a cause he cared deeply about; protecting vulnerable children.
Now entering its fifth year, Danny’s Walk has grown into a powerful community tradition. This year’s walk will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 a.m. at the Barnegat High School in New Jersey, bringing together family, friends, and supporters to honor Danny’s memory while advocating for child safety.
Proceeds from the event benefit the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, an organization dedicated to safeguarding children, assisting families in crisis, and helping recover missing children. What began as a heartfelt tribute has evolved into an inspiring event driven by remembrance, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
The impact of Danny’s Walk continues to grow thanks to the dedication of Danny’s family, friends and the generosity of the community. In 2022, the event raised $2,820.10. Contributions increased to $4,184.11 in 2023, followed by an impressive $5,368.59 in 2024. Together, these efforts generated more than $12,000 over three years in support of this important mission.
These achievements represent far more than fundraising totals, they reflect the enduring legacy of Danny’s life, the strength of community support, and a collective commitment to creating a safer future for children everywhere.
