Danny’s 4th Annual “Walk to Save the Children”
In memory of her brother Danny, Katherine Rudden founded Danny’s Walk to Save the Children—an annual fundraiser that honors his life while supporting a cause that meant the world to him: protecting vulnerable children.
Now in its fourth year, Danny’s Walk continues to grow in impact and reach. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 2nd from 10am-1pm at Barnegat High School in New Jersey, welcoming friends, family, and community members to come together in support of child safety and advocacy.
Each year, the walk raises funds for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, a vital organization dedicated to protecting children and bringing hope to families in crisis. What began as a personal tribute has become a meaningful tradition rooted in love, remembrance, and action.
Since its inception, Danny’s Walk has raised thousands of dollars thanks to the dedication of Daniel’s family and the generosity of the community. In 2022, the event raised $2,820.10. In 2023, that number rose to $4,184.11. And in 2024, a remarkable $5,368.59 bringing a total accumulation of over $12,000 in just 3 years to support this critical cause!
These milestones are more than just numbers—they represent the lasting impact of Danny’s life, the power of community, and the commitment to making the world safer for children everywhere.
